Nothing against anybody from the other coast; I just don't like to travel . . . the closer, the better.

Oh Geeeeeez.....where does the time go??? I'm forever running around like a crazy person.....into everything as always. I hope you all are enjoying this absolutely beautiful Fall weather. I just started a new jow last week as a .....doo-doo-doo.....Concierge in an assisted living place. It's quite lovely and ....gosh, how I love the elders! (I'm not far from being one!!!) It's sooooo hard to think of myself being '60' in December. What the heck happened? I swear I was just 26 a few months ago (seems like it). TTFN xoxoxoxox Carol

Hi Carol, I'm live in Parkton, MD. We are practically neighbors!

Dotty, I think that's a great idea! It would be nice to meet some fellow alopecians. Count me in.

Hello to all my friends on the east coast. I'm trying to organize a northeast Alopecian get together and right now I'm just in the thinking phase. I met with my Alopecian friend Terry for the first time a few nights ago and we picked a date for September. Right now I'm just trying to get some numbers of interested parties together so we can pick a place. We threw out Six Flags in Massachusetts as a possible place (my daughter can get discount tickets through her work). Anyone interested, please let me know so I can start a list. You can post it here, on my page or you can email me at hottie_dotty@hotmail.com. Thank you in advance.
Love and Hugs,
Dotty

The only thing that is holding me against getting a vacuum piece is that I sweat. and I have heard on the NAAF postings that whn you sweat in those pieces, they loose their grip. I wear a lace humna hair, with a cotton "beaner" that I wear under the wig to absorb and protect.

I'm from Massachusetts. There is a Maine/NH group but I guess they don't want us from Mass. LOL!!! Can I join here???? I have a lace piece but the color wasn't right and I never got into using the glue or tape...so it's sitting in a bag and never been worn. I think I'm going to look into a vacuum piece; I've never heard a negative thing about them.

It looks like Baltimoreans with no hair don't have much to say! I'm always looking for better, affordable products. I prefer monofilament wigs. I have a lace, but it's not quite right. Know a good place to purchase a wig and get it styled. It has been so frustrating over the years.
Look forward to hearing from you
