Hello, I'm 48 and have 2 silver dollar size spots and a few small ones on my head for the first time. This is all new to me and a bit overwhelming. Have not been officially diagnosed yet. Does anyone know of a good Dr. to get referred to in Maine. Thanks so much !!

Hello Fellow Alopecians,
We are in the beginning stages of planning our 2010 2nd Annual National Bald Out in Boston. I hope to get many, many interested Alopecians in the northeast to join us this year. Last year we had 20+ people and this year we are hoping to have many more. Please keep us in mind if you were thinking about doing something for International Alopecia Day. Even if you aren't ready to be bald in public and just want to come hang out with us and spread some much needed awareness, we would love to have you join us. Last year we walked the "Freedom Trail" and called it the "Freedom from Hair" trail. We haven't finalized the where and when so if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Hello NH and ME friends,
The following is details on our first official event for our newly
incorporated non-profit company "New England Alopecians Unite, Inc."
We are having a "Brunch and Beauty Day" on June 7, 2009. It will
begin by having a nice brunch buffet at the Radisson right off 495 in
Chelmsford at 11:00 a.m., and then off to Marcus and Leslie Boutique (which is walking distance from the hotel) for the beautiful ladies to
see (and try on and big discounts) the latest fashions from New York and LA, view a demonstration (I hope) of Markus painting clothing. We have acquired 40+/- costumes for the kids to dress up and have funs pictures taken too. You can check out their website at http://www.markusandleslie.com/. I hope we can get a great bunch of people together as I know it will be lots of fun.
