I attended the new support group in upstate ny started by a young woman with alopecia areata. there was a good group there. strange being at a support group again. sort of a been there done that feeling. do I need this anymore at my age? I think not really. But for the younger kids and those who just recently got the disease - it is good for them. probably will attend when my job allows it.

We're kicking off July's Women with Alopecia awareness month. Join us for the first Capital Region Bald Girls Do Lunch: Sunday, June 27th. RSVP required.
