Methotrexate

Hi Everyone.
Has anyone tried Methotrexate for AU? I have been on DPCP for almost a year and had no real success. This is something new with an apparent 50-50 chance for AU.

Since I am not a responder to Xeljanz, my doctor wants me to go on methotrexate. I am wondering if it is even worth trying.

So far I've been on MTX for 2 months and nothing.  I'm actually going to ask my Rheumie about XeljanzXR on my next visit next week

Hello all. Just wondering about updates on this topic. How thw therapy was for yoi, have u got a full hair growth. How lon have u been taking mtx? My daughter 11 years old she has been diagnosed with alopecia since October 2016, at this day she has Alopecia Universalis ( no eyelashes no eyebrows). It has been 3.5months since she stated taking it and she is on 10mg (4 tablets). Unfortunately there is no hairgrowth just yet. How long have u guys been waiting until you saw ur 1st hair on Methotrexate?

Hi Kasia, my son is 12 years old and we just started methotrexate.  Did you have any luck with this medication?  He is doing 15mg/week.
