It is nearly that time of the year when I have to start looking for some new hats to wear. The summer is gone and autumn is getting chilli. Winter will soon be here and my head is starting to feel the cold already.

I cannot decide exactly what style of hats to wear this year. In the past I have simply worn beanie type hats but perhaps this year I will try something a bit different. A friend of mine has suggested a Theodora. What on earth is that I hear someone say? Well it’s a bit like a cross between a trilby and a Stetson. I’m not too sure about it but I’m feeling a bit adventurous as far as fashion goes at the moment so I may at least try one on.

I don’t think I will go for the trendy type of hat that some people wear with flaps over the ears. I just think I’m a bit too old for that style.

Another suggestion has been to wear a bandana but I’m not sure about that either.

Perhaps I will just put up with a cold head.

Any suggestions?????

Definitely a Fedora--such as what the iconic Cary Grant would have worn in one of those wonderful black and white movies. Or picture Frank Sinatara (old blue eyes) and the rat pack. It doesn't get anymore effortlessly suave than that. Seriously I think they are very sexy on a man, with or without hair. You will probably get loads of compliments and attention from women, for you classic style and romantic air of mystery evoked by your "retro look". Oh, and anytime I get a chill a couple of sips of red wine warms me right up!!

I like the idea of a couple of sips or red wine.
