It's been a while since I posted on here, and I felt its about time I do. Since September I have been in and out of hospitals, different specialist, and I think my PCP and I see each other more than I see my best friend. LLLOOONNNGGG story short, I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia (OUCH!), POTS, and a severe case of restless body syndrome. I am currently on Short Term Disability, have been since January, with currently no sign of me going back to work any time soon. Because of the POTS (Postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) I spend most of my time at home. I have fainted so many times and hurt my foot and my knee because of it. The one thing I had going on was my hair was actually growing. Sure I had some bald spots here and there, but nothing too crazy. Well on top of getting sick, I had some HUGE fights with my parents, like cops coming to me and my husbands house 3 nights in a row. I was getting SUPER stressed and 2 days ago noticed I lost more hair, so I shaved off my fohawk and now have only but stubble and many bald spots. Since this seems to happen a lot it really doesn't stress me out anymore. What does is that I have tori (extra bones) removed from my mouth on monday and I now have huge cheeks and my lower lip wont stay up. I look ridiculous. But at least I can still laugh at myself...a lot. ;-)
