So on Tuesday, my aunt gave me a few wigs she had on hand and I ordered 2 more...one that will like like my real hair and one that is totally not, lol! I'm not ready to invest in an expensive wig until I know the nature of this, though at this rate it will be gone by Christmas. Yesterday, I spent most of the day with my mom getting her glasses and whatnot, and I wore this all day with fairly good results. Here are a before and after shot.

Before:
Wigless 110509

After:
Wig 110509

I didn't change anything other than the wig but I think it does make me look healthier. The scarf headband helps keep it in place so it doesn't itch.

I like it. It really suits you. Is it synthetic?

Super cute...no one would notice that it's a wig.

Thank you so much ladies!

Karina, it is synthetic and it's very close to my natural color. In fact, I've worn my hair pretty close to this before. One of the 2 I ordered the other is a 50/50 blend so I'm excited about that, and the other is synthetic.

momoftwo, the scarf is a 20" square (I have dozens literally) and tying them in different ways has been something of a hobby of mine for 10 years. I love them and they definitely add that little something to any outfit...or wig! LOL

You look great in both, unless the picture isn't showing everything I actually think you look fine without a wig. If I had that much hair I doubt I'd feel the need to wear one. But at least you are prepared for the worst case scenario. I waited about 3 months too long to finally break down and admit to needing one. Then I was in a mad panic to find ANYTHING to throw on my head!!!

Thank you again, Ladies :-)

Dominique, My hair has a very large bald spot across the top and both sides. With winter coming I need to wear the wig as it's quite cold! I live in Pennsylvania, so it's not really that cold here, but if I was living in Nebraska where I was raised, I couldn't imagine how cold it would feel...

This style is actually very similar to how I wore it previously...I had that much hair! I lose so much daily...about what I used to lose when I really cleaned out my brush once a month or so.
