Fitbit, runners, and guys and gals who lift!

Basically what the name says!

We all have more than one thing in common. And I created this group to also support the fit and health focused persons who want to support each other and share our progress.

Having slope is universalis for over twenty years now; I know the gym is one of the most important things for my confidence, dealing with self doubt and insecurities, and getting my anger out.

Awesome comment Ross! I feel like that's something I could eventually get into too! Sounds like it has given you a great feeling of accomplishment as well!

Great idea for a group. Hair loss can't keep us from taking great care of ourselves! Of all people, we know better than to take the positives our bodies give us for granted.
I got into triathlons in 2015. My hair loss (Areata- ophiasis) began in 2016. The training and competing have given me something positive to focus on.
Prior to 2015, i knew nothing about triathlon, other than seeing Ironman on TV. Turns out, there are basically four types, from the super-hardcore, ultra-endurance Ironman distannce to the very doable Sprint distance, which is usually only a few hundred yards swim, then about 15 mile bike, followed by a 5k run. I started with a Sprint on a borrowed bike and have now moved up to the Olympic distance which is where i think I'll stay. Anyway, if any of you are interested in getting into it, you can probably find a sprint near you.
I will say this, though, for anyone: swimming is awesome! I never really swam as a kid, so I had to practice a lot to get comfortable with it, but man, it will make you feel great! And will get you super-fit!!

Thanks for cool group.
Stay positive everyone. We don't need hair, just love, and we can produce that ourselves. :)

Hey Tstatontko! I just started working back out a couple months ago so still doing my own thing. I only have time to go to the gym on my lunches, so an hour Monday-Friday. I have most Fridays off until end of summer so usually go for 2 hours on Fridays. Usually half cardio and half weight machines until I feel more comfortable. I kind of like my routine for now as I want to focus on cardio a lot.

Right now I'm doing Wndler 5/3/1 strength training program, periodization version. I like it because I get to do the power lifts, but still maintain domewhat of a bodybuilder hyper trophy work out. What program do you all use?

Of course I'm in. Bald guys look awful unless you are big and athletic.
