i am looking for some false eyelashes for my daughter who has had alopecia (eyelashes only) for about 7 years. Kids starting to wear makeup and she may want to try some. We bought a few but she feels “odd” with them on. It is understandable because going from nothing to the falsies seems extreme even though they are not over the top like some fashion ones. Since she is 14, we are looking for the most subtle, natural, short ones that aren’t uniform. Most seem to have a repeatable pattern that looks fake. The idea is to try them at home, get used to them over the summer, and maybe wear them going into high school. If she never feels comfortable in them, that is ok too, but willing to try it out if we can find the right pair. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

I have the best and most natural looking eyelashes. They are ARDELL #109 and you can buy them in bulk from Madam Madeline on line. You will pay half the amount you pay in the stores especially if you order 30 pairs and up. I pay about $2.50 a pair and you can use them for over a week if you take them off and clean them properly. There is a code for those with alopecia to obtain another 15 to 18 percent discount. I have been ordering them for my daughter since she was 21 years old and to this day she still uses that brand and that number. When my daughter lost her lashes I was broken hearted and so was she. I made an appointment with MAC Make up consultants and they showed us how to apply them when you do not have lashes. Yes, we bought a few products from them which really made her eyes look amazing. When we got out of the store my daughter said, "I feel like myself again". These lashes have been a blessing. Also Mac MAKEUP can show you how to draw on eyebrows that look natural if she loses them as well. Please write me with any other questions. I have gone through it all with my daughter and it makes me feel good to help others. Regards
