My baby

well as most of you know my 8 year old has Alopecia and has for almost a year now. We have decided to stop treatments as they do work but hair just falls out in other places and falls out again in the regrowth, so whats the point. I just wanted to share that we have stopped obsessing over how to treat it and decided to just live with it.

I really can appreciate your decision. My 9 year old son keeps losing (about 75% at a time) and then has regrowth only to lose it again. It's a ping pong game and I hate that with each regrowth his hope get up only to be let down. It began this last summer and we are finally not obessing. I barely see it any more, just see my wonderful boy

Tracy, I am glad that you and your daughter are able to make this decision and be comfortable with it. I bet your daughter is a strong gal. If your daughter chooses to wear a wig and you'd like some suggestions please let me know. My daughter wears a wig an we get them for free.
