About Me:
I've been diabetic since 2008 and I have problems with my beard and my hair. Everything started long ago when I was 28. A sort of a "patch" or spot appeared on my beard, doctors told me that it was due to a disease related to the teeth. I took some antibiotics and my hair recovered. Afterwards, 4-5 years later the problem appeared again, but in six months it disappeared by itself. In 2008, when doctors told me that I had diabetes, the alopecia reappeared and since then patches and spots have been growing in size and volume. Maybe in a year or a year and a half I will be totally bald. Psycologically it is very difficult to carry such a problem. The diabetis is causing me a lot of troubles, but you can't see them, they are invisible for the "surrounding area", they are inside me, nevertheless, on the other hand, you can clearly notice the alopecia, and the alopecia is destroying me mentally. My mental health is deteriorating. I've to mention, as weel, that I work as a teacher in High school.
