- AU at 18, devastated. became a recluse for 3 years, eventually plucked enough courage to go to night school, went to university at 23, Majored in Painting (Fine Arts). Met my wife, she said i had body like a greek god, its more like a buddha now. Have 3 beautiful daughters with lovely hear, I tell them to keep it real, don't let life's stresses overwhelm you, don't get too attached to hair straighteners ,mobile phones and the transient things in life. I'm so lucky, one,s an elite sportswoman (soccer), the other a hard working, music loving beautiful insightful girl, and the other an avid reader devouring books. Also have twin boys who are 9 and are just great and think I'm the measure of all things, until they turn 16 i suppose, they are full of so much love and wonderment, I,ll try and build on that. Am 44 and it's been one roller coaster ride with my confidence, am going through a low patch with depression and all that. Need to keep my head up and think of the bigger picture.
