- I had AU from ages 5-7 then all hair grew back. At age 9 I had AA on my scalp.Hair regrew later that year. I have never had hair on my legs however. From ages 9-41 no re-occurance. At 41 AA in my beard, which cleared up at 44. At 45 AA in scalp...and it has now progressed at age 46 to AU. YUCK!!!!!
