- About me, huh? Well, how about this:
- I'll never perform in a flash mob, breaking out in spastic song and dance in the middle of a train station, the food court at the mall, the post office, etccc. Seriously, what's that about anyway? Is it really to share the joy, uplift people's spirits... or is it just a collectively indulgent act by frustrated performers who couldn't make it on Broadway, off Broadway or even in a Community Theater?
- I don't like showtunes. This isn't unlike my first point, but speaks to the larger reality of musicals. They're awkward and off-putting. The whole concept of a musical, where people are talking or in some way relating, then one of them suddenly breaks out into song... this is the essential premise of musicals. Oh - and those cruise ships where the wait staff all break out into song... that's especially awful. The confluence of a flash mob and a musical... but it's on a cruise ship, so you can't escape.
- I think those 'Successories' posters that grace the walls of literally every corporation in America are nothing less than pure evil. Seriously... maudlin expressions, subtle forms of inculcation and mind control.
I could go on, but I'm much more focused on the authentic and positive.
Then again, all of this caustic snarkiness is *really* fun ~

my biggest pet peeve at work though is when people come in on there cell phones you say hi and they dont acknowledge you and say GIVE ME.... I know I was taught manners when I was growing up please and thank you, may i have, oh and hi how are you today! haha! there are some RUDE PEOPLE is this world!
