I am 34 years of age so when people ask me why I shaved my head I just tell them the truth and really is not a big deal and no one really seems shocked when I tell them alopecia. This is something I was embarrassed to say in my younger years and I let it hold me back from many things. looking back now, I would have shaved my head long ago.
