- I am a 17-year-old boy that has Alopecia totalis and i really need some help from somebody that knows about my disease. I find it very difficult to confront it even if i got when i had 7 years , i can get used to it. So please somebody if can help me

Tallgirl said… - Alin, thank you for the friend request. I am a teacher with alopecia totalis. My AA started at age 10, and there were times my hair grew back over the years. There was also a time I lost ALL my hair (in my 40s). Now I am a grandmother (babushka), and I do not think my hair on my head will ever all grow back...unless there is a miracle cure!
