Oh that's so hard! The same thing happened to me, my hair fell out in just a month. (I'm 32) I didn't lose my eyelashes or my eyebrows, but they did get a bit thinner. I pencil my brows in (I have a fabulous brow person here in Boston who helped me find a good shape) and wear falsies to offset the bit of thinning that did occur. Your daughter looks like a beautiful person - inside and out - and she's lucky to have such a loving family and support network!  If she ever wants someone to commiserate with, please feel free to put her in touch with me.
