Hello Everyone!!!
I just moved to Temple so not to far from Austin. What is there to do? I know Austin has a lot to do but where can I get out to meet cool people, not drunks and crazy people. Any suggestions?
Maybe I need to find a local support group.

I know people have been asking around, so i just thought i'd share this with everyone! A support group has been set up for Texas! I'm so excited to see everyone.

You really are quite a brave young woman. I am sure will be quite an inspiration to anyone around you. I think there might be a NAAF group in Houston. I have had Alopecia Areata Totalis since I was 5 years old and when I came to Houston I woundered the same thing but did not know anyone else with the disease. Thanks to this web site we can all find each other a lot easier. I live around the South Houston Area. I will try to find out some more information about the NAAF group. They had one in Minneapolis it was interesting. I went to a few meetings before moving back to Texas.

All - there will be another San Antonio support group on Saturday, August 6th from 10a - 1p at the IGO Library located at 13330 Kyle Seale Pkwy San Antonio, TX 78249. If you are close to SA, I hope you can make it - close to 50 people turned out for the last one!
