Saw your request Kim, but did not make the link and messaged you to confirm you are in Canada. Ignore. I will approve you now.  : ) Welcome!

Thanks Jana , I made the request in Facebook! I'm not surprised to not see support groups in smaller places as it seems it's such a secret , shamefull type of disorder :-(

Please Shelly if you found out about that group let me know because my whole family had this problem.

From what I am aware, we only have the few "AA" support groups across the country. But I know that there are people with other forms of alopecia who attend. I think it is really luck of the draw as to whether or not your particular group has a wide range of attendees in terms of forms of alopecia .. . You might have more luck online, as organizations like AlopeciaUK are more broad in their focus. And there is a very large group - over 8000 members - on Facebook that is called Alopecia Areata but has posts from people dealing with all forms.  Happy to provide more resources if you would like.  : )

Hi everyone. Just wondering if anyone knows of a support group for androgentic alopecia in Toronto. I have gone to the CANAAF meetings and although helpful I'd like to meet people going through the same type of hair loss as me. Thanks!

You are correct Jana.  There is no Support Group in Kelowna.  I have several Clients in Kelowna and in the area and no one has set up an informal group/get-together/etc.
