Hey Philly Alopecian people! I'm performing in this show this weekend in University City (February 4th and 5th at 8 pm). I'm a professional dancer, and I am going to be performing a solo about my experience with Alopecia. I thought some of you might be interested in seeing it, so I am spreading the word. Hello Joanne,
I found two that I thought were really great, both are located in the Mainline area (western burbs of Philly) - Jude Plum Salon in Bryn Mawr, ask for Theresa (she helped me so much when I was getting my hairpiece www.judeplumsalon.com; the other is Maryanne Studios in Wayne, I went to a NAAF support meeting there and was very impressed with her also www.maryannestudios.com. Also I just got my eyebrow tattooed by Jeffrey Segal - he is spending much more time in NYC these days - I am sooo happy with his work and absolutely love my new brows. Hope this info helps.
