I've was diagnosed with alopecia areata about a year ago, and was trying a solution which my gp gave me. To be honest the patch my head my family and my fiancé say it has defiantly got smaller but I'm really struggling to cope with it all.

It's the little things like going out with mates, going shopping or even just going for a walk, I have to wear my cap as I'm embarrassed.

My family say I shouldn't be and my fiancé is a great help for me but I'm really struggling, I'm feeling depressed and it's really affecting my social life as well as at my job. I work in the retail sector and I'm not allowed to wear my hat there and I hate it!!!

Let me think... You can try to use keratin fibers (like toppik or similars) to cover the small spot and I think that will work very well if the hairs are starting to regrowth. With this option you'll be able to stop to wear your cap and no one will notice the difference. Honestly, I'd like to have the same option, but it's only a dream....

Keratin fibers would work ,

hmmm :( i'd kill to be in your position

Thanks guys for the advice and I really don't wanna come across as selfish this is just new to me and I'm struggling.
