Has anyone tried Cellcept for alopecia areata?

Does anyone have any experience with Cellcept for extensive alopecia areata? I did a search but couldn't find much info. My dermatologist recently prescribe it. She said she's had a lot of success with it. I haven't started taking it yet as I am waiting for it to come from the pharmacy my insurance requires me to use.

So I've been taking it since August 18th. The hair fallout definitely did not stop and there has been no regrowth. I'm at about 70% loss--bald as I've ever been. I had an appointment with the derm today and she upped my dose to 3,000 mg a day. My labs have been normal and I've not experienced any side effects. She suggested it was still early and to give it another 2-3 months.
