2 cover head or not
i dont really see what the big thing is 2 walk around bald or not its a personal choice and at the end of the day we all have the same condition . it is very brave to walk around bald but i think it is also brave to wear a wig or hat and jus get on with your life . would we be debate n how liberating it wood be to go with out our false leg mind u it mite be liberating as wearing a wig is a lot easier than a false leg . personally it is not for me to go wiv out my wig and if you choose to bare all as well then its all good what ever floats your boat is what i say the main thing is jus be happy and except what and who u are we are . my worse fear is if i get old and get put in an old peeps home they might not put my wig on me or put it on wrong i do dream about that as well lol

I understand what you are saying. It is just brave to face this world with alopecia isn't it? Everyone dealing with this condition has to make a decision on how they want to present themselves. I think that is one of the great things with alopecia areata. You do have a choice :). One of the hardest things to deal with when you have alopecia is you don't have a choice on having alopecia - you just get it and that's that. What it does is out of your control and that's so very hard. Whether you wear a wig, scarf, hat, or nothing the fact that you have aa is still their - that never goes away and that's where bravery is relevant to all those dealing with this difficult condition.

yes i totally agree wiv u we have it and that is that as with any long term illness or condition we all rise to the problems it brings standing tall and proud of who we are and what we have achieved dispite all the problems we come up against it can be very very hard but u know what they say "WHEN THE GOING GETS TOUGH THE TOUGH GET GOING " and what i always think if people dont like how i am is i am who i am i have alopicia i wear a wig . so what ! is it a crime ? what u gonna do shoot me , i was same person with hair and same person without hair so kiss my a....

it is funny lol u gotta laugh x but i really do have deams about it i have worked in an old peeps home and they would do this lol i worked with a girl once who was new and i told her what to do to get the peeps to bed wash ready for bed and things and i said ask if they want to remove their teeth and if so put them in a bowl . she put about 5 peeps to bed and came to find me and gave me a large bowl wiv teeth in , i said whats that and she said " their teeth " i said whos are whos and she did n t know lol so i can imagine they all had some one elses teeth in in the morning omg i feel another nightmare come n on wig on back to front and sum one elses teeth in lol
