NFL QB Joshua Dobbs' Alopecia Awareness Mission

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Joshua Dobbs has alopecia areata, a hair loss condition that he is raising awareness about. He sits down with Dr. Freda Lewis-Hall, Pfizer’s Senior Medical Advisor, to discuss how he has been affected by the common autoimmune skin disease, and how he is setting a positive example and encouraging others dealing with this type of hair loss. "Having alopecia is nothing to be afraid or ashamed of," Joshua shares.

On The Doctors he recommends wearing sunscreen.  I have read somewhere that sunscreen may in fact be something that contributes to the onset of alopecia.  I have frontal fibrosing alopecia which I discovered after a vacation in FLA where I did use a lot of sunscreen, so I thought perhaps there is something to that.  But then again, maybe not.
