Talking about my Alopecia Areata. A lot of people I know have NO idea what it is, so its my short way of explaining it. Sorry for my horrible quality camera and my dogs barking! No one seems to understand how I feel, they just automatically think I'm OK with it because I don't wear a wig. That's not it at all...I accept it, but I absolutely HATE it.

*So since someone ALREADY had to say something on Facebook, I want to say I wasn't saying that Alopecia is the WORST disease and I rather have another. I know this is in no way worse than MANY diseases. When I did this I was pretty upset with someone and myself, and just venting. I know I have it a lot easier than people with other diseases. People always jumping to find something negative!*

Girl I SO understand. Im tired of it too.The comments from friends like..."ooo your hair is growing back" really get to me...like really dont get my hopes up. Or the ever popular ..."you have such a pretty head" yea I dont even know how to respond to that one. Im glad Im not sick or dying but I almost wish sometimes I had AU or AT instead of AA. My advice to you after 17 yrs of coping....With or without hair....Beauty comes from the inside and YOU are beautiful!
