Unedited video from a friend. (Sorry about the rough spots and blocked views, but it gets better if you watch to the end.) Swing dancing to the Moonlight Serenade Orchestra - Big Band music in Balboa Park, San Diego, August 2010. There were close to 2,000 people in the capacity audience at the ampitheater, and we were dancing right in front of the stage. No hair, no problem.

I posted a few photos from the same day.

Thanks! I recommend taking a class (social Ballroom, NOT competition ala Dancing With The Stars). This sort of classic 40's Swing/Lindy Hop is SO easy to learn, and you can use the steps to all kinds of music - though it feels best to THIS music it evolved with. We also love the slower Fox Trot.

We actually only know a few variations, and It looks effortless because we've been dancing it together for almost 25 years. It's all about subtle clues and give and take. I love it. Social ballroom dancing is nothing like what you see on DWTS, etc.

Good for her. Only a few of us can pull this off where it does not affect us entirely. Boogey down.

Thanks.

Oh, it does affect me...when I first get up in front of a bunch of people, or walk into a crowded room bald, I feel it. But, somehow I've learned to just let it go. In this case, the music helped!

Thanks, Stacey. That's what I think most people saw, though I did get one cancer question. Used to it.
