Thank you for this thought provoking video. I too was a nail biter as a child and adult. My treatment for the condition, which is as you mentioned may be linked to a stress response, is to put acrylic on my nails. I've done this for so many years I have wondered about the link of nail salon chemicals to alopecia. But you're right it's important to identify a possible cause for stress before stopping a body-focus repetitive behavior such as nail biting, biting the inside of your cheek. picking at your skin or pulling your hair. Without removing the cause, one could acquire another bad habit.
On being bald as a part of God's Purpose, I agree with that too. I don't believe God intended for me to have an autoimmune disease that makes me bald. But what the enemy meant to damage my mind and crush my spirit, God has given me (and you) the strength and power to do good things like extending love and charity to others. We are like His ambassadors for tolerance and compassion.
