hey the georgia naaf support group is hosting a auction fundraiser saturday at the gwinnett arena from 5-9pm, tickets are $5 and available at the door. Hey there! Well I did it! Got the brows and the eyeliner tattooed this past week. Have to say, I LOVE it! It's not completely healed up yet (gets a little scabby for the first few days, then flakes off to reveal true color). But I can already tell from the shape of the brows and stuff that I'm going to be very happy with them for a very long time. The lady who did mine actually had her makeup tattooed on, too - even though she doesn't have alopecia. She has naturally light reddish blond hair and her brows just didn't show up much. So she just filled them in....doesn't pluck, just tattooed them darker. Looks good....totally natural....I would never have known hers were done. I'll post my pics as soon as all healed up!!!

HI, its me again. Yes I feel very lucky to have such a wonderful husband. I believe truly in my heart that there is a soul mate for everyone in this world. Yours will soon happen! I have a good feeling about it.

HI Erin, I met my husband through Match.com. I lived in North Carolina and he lived in PA. He came down to North Carolina 6 months after we were communicating by phone and by email. He actually proposed to me over the phone. He said he fell in love with my heart and by us talking. We have been happily married for 7 years now. He is one terrific guy!

Hi Erin. I'm 36 and living with alopecia too! I'm in Baltimore, MD. Have had aa on and off for about 15 years. Right now, totally bald, no brows or lashes. Looking into getting them tattooed to avoid drawing them on every day!

Hi Erin! I'm glad you found this site! It's always nice to be able to talk to others about the same thing that you are going through.

I just posted a blog on my page with basic information about my hair, so you should take a look at that. They can definitely style hair in a natural way without having to have bangs! You just need to really trust that you stylist knows what he/she is doing and is very experienced in working with hair pieces. Let me know if you have any specific questions about mine.
