I have had aa from february this year. I am fairly sure it was mostly caused by a lot of stress, but I also suffer from a lot of allergies so I was a more prone candidate! I have been treated with synalar gel, and it seems to be almost halfway grown back. Hey I have AA at the moment but it seems to be falling from around my ears now so I'm hoping it's not going into the ophiasis pattern and I have all these new little patches at the front of my head. I'd say I've lost probably half of my hair. I'm just so concious because we live in such a superficial world I always think that once I've lost it I will really struggle to meet girls. I always find myself getting really jealous of people with full heads of hair who are completely unaware of this condition. I should be having the time of my life right now as I'm living in Canada and plan to travel the world but I just can't get excited or happy about things that I'd normally be ecstatic about.. Sorry to rave on about it all..

Hey thanks for the comment. Things aren't the best at the moment my alopecia has been getting worse and worse and hair just seems to be falling out everywhere. I guess that's just how it go's. How's things going with you?

I think I am running out of topics in my OWN explorations of this condition, but who knows when I will finally shut up about it? Ha ha!

Nice to meet you! I haven't been on in a very long time since everything has been pretty low key. A spot is back...have to wait until October to see my dermatologist...as it grows bigger and bigger. *sigh*
