I am a mom of three children, the oldest one is 7 years. i had a scarf on my hair a couple of days and my daughter told me mom 'you should come your hair than you can take it of. otherwise you will lose your hear. if she only knew ....I laughed and sad yes you are right.
I do have a long way to go. my first step is telling my family that i have alopecia. phhh

Yes, they are getting closer to a cure, and genetic prevention. I'm not sure it will help those of us who have had it for this long, though because our follicles have most likely become dormant after all this time (I've also had univeralis for about 25 years).
