Hi Scott - yeh AU has its advantages like you have listed BUT its cold in winter!! I have an addiction to baseball caps -34 at last count - do you think I need help!!?

Hey there. I have just been told that I have AA. This is really getting me down. I currently have my own hair and am hiding the spots pretty good, but it's getting harder. I hope you have a great Holiday Season.
Thanks for your comment. I am happy to join the AU group! I am excited that I found this website. After reading a few of the blogs, I started to feel more confident about having AU. Happy Holidays to you as well!
My older kids have mentioned concerns about getting AU. Right now my youngest always tells me I am beautiful and she wants to shave her head so she can look just like Mom. I of course tell her no she doesn't because she has her own unique look. The only thing is- I myself worry about it. I had heard somewhere that it can be hereditary, but no one here has ever mentioned that possiblity so I am hoping my info was wrong.
So you were going thru a tough time? seems like AU is triggered by stress the most. Unfortunately it doesn't come back when you start de-stressing LOL. I hope it really is coming back, I don't know what anyone else says but I know it is all our secret wish :o) Good luck to you and if you ever want to chat, vent, what have you- there is always an available ear
