Emily, I think you're wonderful, and you give me so much hope. What a wonderful attuide you have through all this... it has basically tarnished my life and I feel that no guy would ever want me like this. You, and Cheryl and a few others on here who have met someone while being bald and who have found happiness and comfort are inspiring. Thank you-Sarah K.
hi emily thanks for adding me your story has similarities with my journey with my alopecia experiences i now wouldnt wear a wig, i wonder why i ever did, you look cool and confident bald cheers jeff
Strange so many of us decided to come "out" recently. I just kick myself for not having done it 15 years ago, although it did not seem to be as accepted back then, think all the Gail Porter press coverage did a lot of good.
I love the description of being "out" - I used it in connection with The National Bald Out: "Come out of the wig closet", and "See you OUT there!"
I've been thinking for awhile of starting a new AW Group for everyone who goes out in public bald. Would you mind if I use the title of your Discussion, "Out & Proud" for the name of a Group?
Thanks a million!! Emily, you are very sweet and I appreciate a lot your comment!! Im a very insecure, too sensitive person and this makes me feel very depressed. In a rush I bought a machine-made natural hair wig and I found it a bit uncomfortable after a couple of hours.
Thanks Emily a lot!! I have telogen effluvium and Im very scared to lose all my hair..I don´t know what to tell people if that happens...How do you deal that?Did U immediately put on a wig? Have you ever found stupid people that noticed that noticed that U have a wig? I´m a veryperson..
