I wear my hh unit when I go jogging at 7a.m. till I go to bed at 11p.m. Some days I swim in it,then shampoo it and go to work. It is very light, airy and comfortable and it stays without glue or tape. No need to wear anything under it. You can see details on my website at hairconnectiontoday.com. Thanks for asking, Dr. Bernice Williams

I totally agree with Leslie Mader. People don't really notice or care that a person wears wigs. All they know is that we look good. It's 100% attitude; confidence is what makes a wig look "real".

I know what you mean! Here's what i do sometimes I will wear a headband or scarf band with my wig. It really makes it look real. Fortunately, most people, even my friends can't tell i have a wig on. I think when you are not used to wearing one you do feel a little self-conscious but most people don't notice like we think. Really!!!!! Wear it with confidence and have fun styling it with different hair accessories. Post a picture, i would love to see it. Love, Leslie

I wear her around 10 hours or maybe 15 at times. I've been wearing wigs for more than 5 years now, I hardly feel like I'm wearing wigs anymore.
Summer is especially hot in Egypt but I've grown accustomed to wigs and I don't feel hot under them, that is why I have cut out my hair so it feels cool.
There is a special glue, especially for lace front wigs, a glue that is waterproof, it needs a special solvent to be removed. I use this glue, only when I know that I will be doing a lot of exercise and maybe get into water, one day I went to the shower with my wig on and just left it to dry like I would my real hair.
Overtime, I came to treat the wig exactly like my real hair.

Hi,
Something is wrong with the link, I couldn't follow it.
If this woman is importing wigs from the USA then she's sure getting profit from it. If you buy from the sites online, they are cheaper than shops to encourage people to buy online and no one will make a profit out of you.
I cut my hair short like a man, but this is just me, to get it out of the way when I wear wigs. I don't hurt by the inside of the wig, but if the inside of the wig hurts you, then you can wear a small cap or something ... you know like the thing Jewish people wear, we Arabs have something close to it, I'm not sure what it's called in English .. or you can buy something called wig cap which is almost the same. This will protect your head from the inside of the wig.

I want you to know this and remember, no one who does not have our hair loss problem understands. That's why we have each other, BUT, i did take the opportunity one evening to tell my family, my husband and son, exactly how it makes me feel. Even though they don't really understand why hair is so important hair is to women, that's ok, but i ask for support, encouragement, interest and compassion. They understood that! So, sit down with your family and let them know how devastating this problem is for us and we need support. Try to find women in your area that have the hair loss problem. It's amazing how many women i have opened up to about my hair and they either know someone or they have hair loss problems. I feel your pain! I feel alone too! Get you hair to cover your loss and it will make a huge difference in your life and you have to be active again. Just try it and it may take your focus off your hair, temporarily but that's better than nothing. Stay in touch! Hugs to you - hang in there!

can you wear a "topper"? my aunt wears one and it looks so real! I think for me this round of wearing my wig it's the cap, but i have worn it the last 2 times i had to wear my wig. i don't get it. i told my dermatologist and he said its the same when he wears a hat and he's bald. So maybe less the hair where the edges of the cap sit the more sore you can get. I don't understand it either! But since you have hair except on top look into a topper that may be better for you.
So glad we met. Leslie
