Maybe more protein than some of the snake oil remedies?

This was actually a vendor at my state's fair last Saturday!!! I couldn't resist a colorful photo!

NO. I tried the liquid therapy in the wine garden. By the way...I took off my wig in front of all the strangers there, while talking to a friend who joined me at the fair. Finally got the cancer question from a guy next to us who had had cancer! I just said, "No. Alopecia," wished him well when he told me he had cancer, and turned back to my glass and the conversation with my friend.

I also took my wig off on the drive home, alone...the wig was too hot!

Tallgirl, looks like you are really testing comfort zone with your alopecia. I think it is nice to have that freedom. Meaning, if you want to keep it on, you keep it on. But if you want to take it off, you take it off.

Great display though, she probably had every teenager at the fair come by ;)

When I was a kid my mom tried everything on my from, UV rays to stewed tomatoes on my head to cow dung. Now I am very happy and proud to be the person I am. What Alopecia did for me was help me build my character to make me a better human being and I would not trade all of the hurt I have had to change who I am and who I will become.

This woman said people were actually buying this stuff, and that you could hardly taste the scorpions once you had sucked on most of the lollipop. I had to wait for a whole family to clear aside before I could get this photo. YUCK!!!!!
