Hello Judith,

I've not ever noticed my bald spots sweating. Has this just started? Is it just your scalp area or are you sweating all over? Are you taking steroids for the AA? Is the sweating temperature related- or do you also sweat when you are cool? Noticed anything else like increased heart rate or blood pressure? How about diet changes such as increased caffeine or nicotine?

some people are just more prone to sweat- but there could also be an underlying reason so I think it be a good idea to run it by your doctor. May want to check out things like adrenal function, thyroid function, pituitary function, diabetes... etc. lots of hormonal changes can cause sweating. You think your entire scalp sweating more- and you are just noticing it more in the bald spots???

In the mean time I would be sure to increase your water intake to replenish what you are losing.
