OMG me too! I have no hair on my head or eyebrows, and my eyelashes are half gone. Yet I have this new thing where I have a little blonde "down" on the sides of my cheeks I never had before. What the heck!?!?!

I lost complete body hair. After I had my eyebrows tattooed for the 3rd time the eyebrows started growing back under the tattoos. Still hairless everywhere else. So unfair, now I'm having to pluck my eyebrows. Grrrrrrrrr!

I always say that Alopecia has a mind of her own. She comes and goes when she pleases and takes whatever hair she wants to take.

Can't possibly be a she...unless, an Evil Queen. Regular females would never do this to one another!

Since I do hair I have to deal with bitchy clients sometime and there was a horrible women that I had to deal with the other day and she had horrible hair she basically would be better off bald then with the hair she had and after dealing with here being rude and her kids screaming the whole time I was doing her hair I desided that people like her should have alopecia that was I wouldn't have to put up with her being so mean to me

Yeah, about the age thing...I have hair on my upper and lower lip, really stubborn hair on my chinny, chin chin, and sometimes even long hairs growing out of my cheeks! And my eyebrow hairs are now starting to get out of control (and WHITE!). Still, after all the stories I've read on this site of people with AU - no hair anywhere - I need to be grateful that some portion of my visage looks "normal" - if you can call it that. And I was reminded the other day while I was reading a book about bulemia (interesting that it's all related to image issues) that WE are the sum of the physical, spiritual and mental. I need to stop being overly focused on the physical. Words to live by.

I have peach fuzz on my face. In certain lights it looks like I am a bald woman with mutton chops. Yuck. Haha!

hi! the only body hair that my boyfriend has are his toe hair and i can say that he would be very hairy if he hadn't lost his body hair.we are sometimes joking that we could take the toe hair and transplant it to make some nice eyelashes for him. :)

That's great toe hair eyelashes would be wonderful. After my boyfriend made the mustache comment my friend and I were in the car and I had just put on a little to much foundation and it was stuck in my mustache fuzz and she ask what was on my face we started cracking up laughing and her boyfriend said tell me your not the bald bearded lady. I had to get my lip waxed a couple of days ago and because I have such sensitive skin I have to do I right before I leave work so that my lip isnt bright red all day at work
