What to do with your hair dryer (besides throw it away)!

I just saw this news item about unusual uses for blow dryers. Mine has been in a bag in the closet (along with my curling iron) since I lost my hair almost 4 years ago.

LOL! I love it. A few years ago, I actually had to go out and purchase one, when I was installing the "plastic" insulation sheets on the windows in my Montreal Condo. It was so wierd going to the counter with it. LOL! Probably not to different from today when I was at CVS comparing shampoos. I use coupons and have been collectiong a few things for one of our daughters that is moving into her own place this week. I couldn't believe the price of that stuff... I haven't purchased it in probably 20 years!

Yeah, it's a weird feeling now for me to even be in the hair products section!

MiNAH, I usually take the small bottles from Hotel visits and then use those for guests. I have heard of a lot of people that still use shampoo for their scalps.

Mary, I remember at one time I hated to go to hair salons with friends, but now it doesn't bother me anymore.

I actually haven't been in a hair salon since January 30, 2008 - the day my long-time hairdresser shaved the last of my hair off.

That's a good idea - to take hotel shampoo bottles for guests. I do take the soaps, but haven't taken the shampoos.

Like Terri, I use mine more for the dog than me--she has way more hair than I do. I also have used it on wigs--I just use the low heat setting and it works fine. I like the idea of melting the bottom of the ice cube tray--I hate when they don't come out and your twisting and turning the tray like your wringing a washcloth and the suckers still dont' come out.
