What blood tests are relevent for alopecia?

Hey Gang,

I havent been to the doctor in ages and have an appt on monday. i figure I may as well be tested for everything. What are you sugestions?
The last time everything was normal. My thought are:
Thiroid Function
ANA
Iron Level
CBC
Testosterone level
Liver and Kidney Function
Syphilis
Any others you can think of that are relevent would be appreciated.

Hope everyone is doing well.

I'm seeing my regular Internal Medicine MD who I havent seen in over a year.
If there was a "cause" for my alopecia perhaps there would be a "cure".
I'm going just to go I guess. More than anything I better make sure my cholesterol level is okay.

There is a test on hair follicle for toxic metals. It might be interesting to see what amount an alopecian
has...whether higher or lower than normal.

Thanks All

But you still have to have some hair to be able to test. :(
