My daughter has had AU for over a year now and she has grown so much! She told me today that she told one of her new close friends and she said, "yea I already knew but didn't want you to be uncomfortable." She said the girls that know don't care and the boys just think you are gorgeous. This was a relief for her to reveal this since she never really knew if her new friends knew are not. I think this will help her courage to tell people in the future. She has been on sulfasalazine and has good regrowth coming in. She developed a rash over the holidays so we stopped the drug and I took her to a new dermatologist down by her school. He is a great older doc and he thinks she has a viral rash but would stay of the sulfasalazine for now to be safe. I think we are finished for now with this treatment. He is going to check with his friend on the potential of lazer. Has anyone had any experience with this good or bad?
