Hello everyone. I have read alot of stories from people with Alopecia. I can't tell you how proud I am of my little Cate. She and her brother are adopted. I miscarried 9 babies and lost 1 foster/adopt baby when he was 8 1/2 months old. Now with my 2,that I have had for over 5 years, Alopecia! I wanted to be so angry at first. Ok, I was. Why her? Why us? Everyone has issues. I just do not understand.
To get back to Cate, she developed Alopecia Areata about 6 months ago. Her long hair is gone. The only thing that remains is the little stubble from where we needed to shave it last week. I have a husband that want's to shave it again. NO!! I just want the doc's next month to look at her and see what we should do. I have a strong little girl that is well educated on Alopecia and will tell others about it. I wish that I could get a fundraiser here in Northern CO. Denver is along way to drive once a week. Thanks for listening. Midnight (Rhonda)
