Hello everyone. First off, thanks to you all who commented on my first post. I went away on vacation and saw a bunch of family, including many young nieces and nephews. While it was fun, I kept thinking over and over how this will be the last time anyone on my husband's side of the family will see me with my natural hair. The little girls loved playing with my hair and I was just so nervous about them making a comment about my growing bald spots. Thankfully they did not. But ack.. why do I care what a 7 year old says? This whole business is doing a number on my self-confidence.

I was thinking of starting my own blog today maybe off this site, but for now I will keep writing here. Today I am making a decision about whether I will go to this salon after all--they keep raising the price of the piece I ordered, gah--or if I will instead brave it alone with getting some pieces online.
