If those who have cancer can get a prothesis for breast cancer, why can't wigs be reimbursemented?  I don't feel there is any difference.

I know how you feel! Some insurance companies do offer to pay for a wig a year, but it has to be approved by your doctor and it has to be a cranial prosthetics hair replacement system!  Talk to your doctor or insurance agent to see if you qualify! Hope this helps.
