So this morning I decided it was time for me to not isolate myself which is what I been doing lately, and I decided it's time for a little pampering.
Went out got my nails done, timmies, shopping and bought a brow pencil to color in some brows and OMG what a disaster i made. I hate it and I have no clue how to color them in. I got the right color ( dark blond) as I normally like my blond wigs.
God sure didn't make things easy when he took away my hairs and brows :(

I'd say, use a fine point in the eyebrow pencil, like the new ones in metal casings by Clinique...with fine little strokes OVER an eyebrow powder of the same color (C also makes the powder). It takes practice. How did you do your nails? Did you get a whole face make-over to watch how the beautician did your brows? I learned to do my make-up at such make-overs, taking note of the colors and tips suggested. What I do now is a combination of things learned over the last 35 years. One interesting tip someone told me she got from a model: match lipstick color to your tongue color to look really natural! Have fun!

I suggest using eyebrow powder, it's easier to work with in the beginning. I recommend Clinique too, got eyebrow powder & pencil from them. You could always talk to the Clinique Sales Person at the store - or however these people are called - & ask them what color suits you the best to fill in your brows & what they recommend you using. That's what I did :)

Hi Lisa lyne, I just received my order from headcovers.com and am really happy. I bought hats with hair which is just a ring of hair and you supply the hat, and I also got these temporary eyebrow tattoos. I do not actually need them yet but I wanted to be prepared when it happens and I am sure that it will. I think they last for a couple of days, you have to use baby oil to remove them, I am impressed with how they look. I got a set of 8 for about 8 dollars. If you are interested I could mail you a set of two to check them out. I live in Toronto, Ontario.

This was how I came out to the first (long-haired) female in my town. She was another Little League mom, and I knew she had one of those home make-up businesses. I needed eyebrow advice, so I took a chance on telling her about my alopecia...and we have been friends ever since! P.S. She kept my secret!
