Karen,
When I found my patch in December, I noticed that my nails were changing in apperance. They are fine now and the hair is beginning to re-grow. My alopecia is mild.
During the time that I was searching for information I found this site. It shows nail health from patients suffering from many different diseases. There is a photo at this site displaying alopecia nails.
Our fingernails tell us alot about what is happening to our bodies.
