I am 38 Years old, I am from Hungary.

Unfortunately my English isn't so good, but it might develop.
Even now I need a little time to formulate in English what I want to say.

At the end of May 2014 almost all my hair fell out in about 10 days.
2 weeks later hair growth stopped elsewhere too, for example eyebrows, mustache, axillary, etc…
Only my legs and arms ar not  affected.
On my head there is a thin "baby hair" and elsewwhere is also a fine stubble but it is not growing.

I had many medical tests, but with the exception of the dentist, each doktor found me very healthy.
(I also feel myself very healthy)

Thank God I could consult with some very kind and fair professionals but so far they have not been able to give any treatment.
My dermatologist diagnosed: Effluv. cap, Alopecia tot. (I think it may be more Alopecia universalis)

My dermatologist told me privately that the same thing happened to one of her own colleague's.
Very thoroughly investigated, but failed to find out what caused it, or what could heal it.
Approx. 1 year later, however, her hair started to grow again and instead of straight hair a lot of curly hair grew.

I found this website while I was looking for opinions about an expensive miracle hair-growing-serum.
I try to get Information from Internet, but there is a lot of writing and very little useful information.
However, you can find so many expensive hair growth products that it's not easy to choose one.

I hope in this community I can find some more well-read and more experienced counterparts.
Mainly I'm looking for answers to the following questions:
What could have caused this, is there something similar in us?
Is there an effective treatment or cure?
How does this disease develop, what other symptoms can be expected?
But I would be very happy if you could share with me any useful experience or good advice.

Though earlier I had very long hair, baldness does not cause any psychological problems to me.
I try to handle it in the proper sense of humor, although I do not understand why all this is happening to me ...

On this website I liked Kylie Bambergers video about Funny Alopecia Problems very much.
It really made me smile on a Monday morning :-))) Thank You!!!

Hi! Thank you for the comments. Of course a lot of questions are swirling in me. Mainly I'm afraid of what other symptoms / illnesses can be expected in the context of alopecia. For example, there are small scars on my nails. Will I lose my nails too? (bad joke) What will be the next bad surprise of fate? And my other main question is, what can I do for my body, in order not to destroy so much of my hair and stay as healty as possible.
