Alopecia is a bit of a bitch :) I'm not so bothered about having no hair on my head any more, or my eye brows, and TOTALLY cool with no leg hair (I really should wear skirts more often)

BUT why does the hair have to grow in stupid places where I don't want it. I actually feel a bit manky today and it is due to unwanted hair I will have to sort out ASAP. It comes everywhere I don't want it, toes, arm pits, bikini line/area, even my chin has the odd one here and there at times, lady mustache...

I really wish that if I am not going to have it on my head where I do want it, that it would just go away from the rest of my body areas I don't want it... All or Nothing!!!

Oh my goodness. I thought i was just super weird. My right armpit has hair! Under my chin I find hair! My toes have hair! My legs still need shaving every 3 days because there is hair! But no brows, no lashes no scalp hair. Sheeeeeesh! Crazy. I choose hair above the neck. That.Is.All. blessings, all.

Hi All thanks for replying - Judy I kept thinking is it actually normal to get hair on toes and chin area, I kept wondering if it is a hormone imbalance or part of the alopecia or does every girl secretly get these? Lol

A further silly thing I have is terrible ridged nails, which I have read is common with alopecia.

Welcome to Menopause...

Well I'm sure it will only get worse when it comes to having my menopause - or knowing my messed up body may get better :) but hopefully a long way off from finding out.
