I have been putting off wearing my wig for weeks now holding on to what hair i have left but just cant hide the patches anymore :( gutted I'm back to wearing wigs again and only just wore it today and was having the same feelings i had last time, paranoid people know, the wind blowing it about mad so thinking people can see the cap, have no proper hairline so it looks like a wig, thats just some of ther anxiety i suffer while wearing it. Questions people ask, where do u get ur hair done, what colour is that, ect im no ready for all this. I think i would be more comfortable wearing headscarfs least then i coudlnt hide it from people and would be much more comfy to wear. Does anyone know how to wear diff scarfs as watchin Toni on the voice i love how her scarf is done but havent a clue how to do this, thanks for any ideas!!

Having read your comment about having 'no hair line' and 'the wind'.... Google Lace Front Wigs/Full Lace Wigs. Whilst this isnt the same as having your own hair, it does give you what appears to be a very natural hairline. You can buy them online or you can get them on the High Street in the Wig/Beauty stores (well here in London anyway). Its true, no one really understands the anxiety and distress felt not only buy losing your hair but, everytime to have to try, or source, inventive alternatives to 'hair'. Hopefully you might find these a more suitable alternative to regular wigs. Incidentally, do you get 2 free wigs per year on prescription from the NHS?

Hey yeah its not an easy journey this! I may have a look around but i wore a scarf today and its much more comfy than bloody wigs but i miss the hair. Yeah i got 4 acrylic wigs a yr from NHS but they are rubbish, the kinda look real but then they dont have a hairline bit in some of them, my last did but this doesnt so i dont think it looks realistic and thats wat gives me the paranoia everytime i wear wigs, x

I haven't seen Toni's scarf on The Voice. Were you able to find a video? I have been wanting to make a how-to video on how to wear a scarf. The more you do it, the easier that it will get. Maybe instead of a video, I can take step by step pictures of how to do it.

I don't know if you've had luck finding what you're looking for, but in case you're interested I've started compiling some headscarf-tying videos on Pinterest. You can find them here: http://pinterest.com/jacster/head-coverings/
