My parents were very matter-of-fact with me, promoted my talents, allowed me to take summer art classes and church camp, and paid for possible treatments and nice wigs when I was dating age. Teach calmness by being calm yourself, so all children will take this in stride. I am 56 now, and just live my life with wigs on rather than my natural hair...calmly.

Hi Agnes, God never promised that we would not go through trials. I do believe that God will answer your prayers, but it may not be the way we want him to. While you continue to pray for her hair to be restored also prepare her for the "meantime". Meaning build up her self-esteem, that way any trials that come her way she will already at a young age have the tools and insight to handle them. You may want to get in contact with the Childrens Alopcia Project.
