It's finally apparent. I found a wide bald spot in the bang area where my part is. No matter how I style it it still shows. Trying not to panic but it's hard. Really need some encouraging words right now. Someone...anyone...

Hi dragongirl, I've had AA for years before I lost all my hair. It sucks that it happened to you but it isn't the end of the world so don't get too down about it. Be hopeful that the regrowth will start soon but until then you can try covering it with a bandana or a thick hairband. That's what I did when a spot appeared bang on in the middle of my head. Best of luck and I hope your hair grows back very soon!

That would be great Maria! Unfortunately, I was diagnosed with AGA and this isn't a AA type bald spot. Im starting to think I may have PCOS even though the doctor didn't see any cysts on my ovaries. I read that a woman may still have PCOS even though cysts may not appear. The reason I am expecting this is because I have all the other qualifications of one who has it.
