So it's been a while since I've been here. My old spots were growing back and hair loss seemed to slow down. Life was nice.
Yesterday my husband (he's a Marine) deployed overseas for 7+ months. I thought I was taking it nicely, I got my crying out and done yesterday, and today I woke up with a positive attitude, but sure enough life just waits till I'm down to kick me a bit lower. I put my hair up to get some cleaning done around the house and bammm! there it is a biggo bald spot in the back of my head at the bottom of my neck. Ugh really alopecia?!? You couldn't pick a better time to decide to pop up again? Is it not enough that I'm stuck in the middle of the desert where I don't know anyone my only friend/neighbor just moved back to Missouri, my grandmother is ill, my parents moved 9 hours away, my husband just left and I don't know when I'll be able to see/talk to him, my almost 2 year old son misses daddy and cries at the door saying "daddy go bye bye I go with daddy" and now this wtf mannn!!!! Blah! I just wanna scream >_/p>

Sometimes life's challenges pile on all at once. I usually go for the diversion, like a class or a bunch of videos on a theme, new dance lessons or art project. Reading a huge novel also works. Hang in there! Be sure you and your son create some great cards, letters and unexpected but fun gift packages for Granny and Daddy!

All I can tell you is hang in there & think positive. My husband is the Army, we are currently stationed in Germany. Try to keep busy with your little man, playgroups & what not. You can do this!!
